Thinkspan is an intelligent personal database. It’s an all-in-one solution for personal information management that feels like a super app, personal AI, life operating system, knowledge base, intelligent organizer and personal metaverse.
Thinkspan developed a foundational new technology to solve the significant challenges of a private personal database. We have built (and patented) a completely novel graph database that is cryptographically secure, performant and intelligent. Thinkspan utilizes an “edge computing” architecture where all information processing occurs on the user’s device, rather than a centralized server. Nothing is visible to Thinkspan (not even the metadata) – only encrypted blobs of information are sent to the server. End to end encryption is the holy grail of privacy and it is difficult (or impossible) for most companies to implement. Thinkspan’s technology enables an end-to-end encrypted database to blossom into a complete operating system that tightly aligns with current trends in security, knowledge management and personal AI.
Although the technology is sophisticated and proprietary, Thinkspan is an organic database that will feel natural and intuitive to users. The information is semantically structured and connected – everything “is what it is” so there is no need for a user to discern complex data taxonomies. Thinkspan is building an extension of the human brain with a true “everything app” for personal information.
We’re seeking a highly independent, creative, and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our fast-paced, visionary team. The ideal candidate is someone who has built multiple apps from scratch, preferably in an agency or dev shop environment (not large corporate teams), and thrives in high-speed, iterative work cycles. We’re looking for someone who enjoys experimenting with visual systems and can contribute both executional and conceptual design.
In this role, you’ll go beyond wireframes and flows — we’re also looking for someone who can contribute to visual design, branding, and illustration. You will focus more on product usability, interaction design, and shaping the visual and brand identity of the app.
You’ll work across mobile and desktop interfaces, contribute to Figma-based design systems, and play a vital role in defining the future of our product. We value curiosity, autonomy, and the ability to have fun with design while staying true to a bold product vision.
