You’ll report to our Director of Information Security and work closely with partners across IT and Engineering.
As a Security Engineer, you’ll help strengthen our defenses by tuning and expanding our SIEM detections, managing vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows, and supporting incident response activities. You’ll also contribute to broader initiatives that improve the security of our infrastructure and new product development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in security operations who’s ready to take on more ownership of tools, automation, and process design. You’ll help us scale and refine our technical controls to better protect sensitive data and maintain a strong security posture as we grow.

As Our Security Engineer, You Will:
- Collaborate with teams across Engineering, IT, Legal, and Product to strengthen the organization’s security posture through improved detection, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Tune and maintain our SIEM platform to enhance detection coverage, reduce false positives, and improve alert quality.
- Manage and improve our vulnerability management program — from scanning and prioritization through to remediation and verification.
Build and automate security tooling that supports continuous monitoring, threat detection, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement practical security controls that align with our risk tolerance and business needs.
- Share knowledge and best practices through documentation, playbooks, and security awareness training for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You Are Likely To Succeed If:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in a technical security or engineering role (e.g., Security Engineer, Detection Engineer, Security Analyst, or DevSecOps Engineer)
- Solid understanding of SIEM platforms and how to tune rules, build dashboards, and improve detection fidelity
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and the ability to coordinate remediation efforts with technical teams

- Familiarity with threat detection and response, log management, and common attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Proficiency with SQL and log analysis for investigations and building custom detections
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, IT, and Product teams
- A methodical, self-starter mindset — you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, improving security processes, and continuously learning
