Job Purpose
As part of the Carnegie Media Solutions team, the Media Specialist is responsible for the holistic execution of digital media campaigns, spanning Paid Search (Google, Bing), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), and Display/Streaming (DV360) media. This role involves hands-on campaign setup, audience creation, bidding, and optimization across all three channels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cross-Channel Campaign Management (Search, Social, Display)
- Support the Strategy team on proposal requests, RFPs, and strategy pivots to achieve client objectives.
- Lead the execution of Paid Search and Social Media campaigns, including keyword development, account setup, audience creation, and bid strategy management.
- Oversee the setup of Display, Video (YouTube, Pre-Roll, OTT), and Audio campaigns in DV360.
- Execute optimizations around keyword performance, campaign structure, targeting, and other facets of Paid Search, Social Media and Display programs.
- Manage display and retargeting campaigns within the Google DV360 DSP (Demand-Side Platform), focusing on inventory selection, targeting and algorithmic bid optimization.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Analyze campaign performance effectively based on monthly data trends seen in the platform and Looker Studio dashboards to create monthly client-facing insight notes.
- Ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and fully according to defined campaign parameters.
- Monitor and evaluate performance across all channels (Search, Social, Display) and craft meaningful recommendations for client review based on data trends that will have a positive impact on performance.
- Formulate insights around campaign performance, creative efficacy, keyword structure, and targeting.
- Ensure that campaigns are delivered on time and fully according to defined campaign parameters.
- Internal Teamwork
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Coordinate strategically with other internal specialists, including the Strategy and Creative teams, to develop fully integrated campaigns that meet client goals.
- Show thought leadership by keeping pace with industry trends across Search, Social, and Display landscapes and offering ideas about process improvements, best practices, and tests.

Credentials and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing/Advertising major or concentration preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working in Paid Search (Google Ads), experience managing paid social campaigns across top social platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Snapchat Business Manager, and/or TikTok Ads) and/or display media programs using DV360 or other comparable DSPs.
- Data analysis experience preferred, particularly in analyzing digital campaign metrics to measure success.
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools and Google-based products (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) a plus.
- Current certification in buying platforms (e.g. Google Ads Paid Search, Display and Video 360, etc.) a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
