About The Role:
We’re seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to own and evolve our Marketo ecosystem. This role will take full responsibility for the platform, improve how it’s structured and used, and partner closely with our Marketing team and Salesforce Admin to drive scalable, reliable execution. This person will immediately stabilize and improve the system, while enabling others on the team to operate more effectively. We expect East/West Coast/etc. work hours.
As Our Marketing Operations Manager, You Will:
- Own day-to-day execution in Marketo (email sends, landing pages, forms, smart campaigns, programs, UTM parameters)
- Drive Marketo platform architecture, governance, and best practices
- Improve program structure and operational standards
- Design and maintain scalable campaign frameworks
- Optimize lead lifecycle, scoring, routing, and sync with Salesforce
- Act as the primary Marketo expert and point of escalation
- Partner with the Salesforce Admin on data model, integrations, and automation
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and technical debt
- Support and mentor other Marketo users on the team
- Contribute to longer-term marketing operations strategy and tooling decisions
- Manage the integrations of additional tools like On24, ZoomInfo and other items in the MarTech stack
- Maintain database health through smart list logic, segmentation, and deduplication strategies.
- Track KPIs for campaign performance, conversion rates, and lead funnel progression.
- Recommend and implement improvements to marketing automation workflows and program efficiency.
You Are Likely To Succeed If You Have:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing operations or marketing automation role.
- Proficient in Marketo; Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) preferred. Hands-on, end-to-end usage as well as administrative support are equally critical. Experience with HubSpot is also preferred.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM; admin experience highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation best practices including deliverability, nurture strategies, and lead scoring.
- Experience with marketing data analysis, segmentation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with UTM strategy, campaign attribution models, and web analytics tools.
- Experience with integrations, webhooks, or APIs
- Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, metrics-driven, and fast-paced team environment
- Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
