About the role:
YipitData’s Marketing team is looking for an Insights Associate to support the creation of data-driven insights used across our marketing efforts, including reports, thought leadership, presentations, and other external-facing materials.
In this role, you’ll work closely with partners across Marketing, Product, and Solutions to analyze data, surface meaningful trends, and help translate those findings into clear, compelling insights that support how YipitData shows up in the market. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working deeply with data and collaborating cross-functionally to support insight development and storytelling.
This role is open to candidates based in Colombia or Brazil.
What you’ll do:
Insight Development for Marketing
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to YipitData’s priority industries and audiences
- Produce analyses that support marketing deliverables such as:
- Industry and topical reports
- Thought leadership and blog content
- Marketing and sales enablement materials
- Translate data into clear, accurate insights that can be used by non-technical stakeholders
Analytical & Data Work:
- Explore and validate insights across YipitData datasets
- Support alignment on data definitions, assumptions, and methodologies used in external materials
- Assist with data quality checks to ensure insights used externally are accurate and consistent
- Create structured outputs (tables, summaries, charts) that can be incorporated into polished marketing assets
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Solutions teams to understand insight needs, priorities, and timelines
- Provide data context, definitions, and supporting detail to help stakeholders confidently use insights in external materials
- Work asynchronously with teammates across regions and time zones
What we’re looking for:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related role
- SQL and/or Python experience and comfort working with data
- Ability to interpret data and surface clear, well-supported insights
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
- Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting marketing, content, product, or solutions teams
- Familiarity with consumer, retail, or transaction-level data
- Experience working with spreadsheets or data visualization tools
- Interest in using data to support storytelling and external communications
