Job Purpose

The Enrollment Data Associate serves the data needs of our Student Search clients and supports all aspects of enrollment strategy name buy operations. They license and process lists from multiple sources, contribute to documentation, and oversee and optimize Student Search list purchasing and data operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Search List Purchasing and Management

  • Lead the end-to-end list purchasing process using multiple vendor platforms.
    
  • Build student lists based on Enrollment Strategist parameters and adjust as needed to meet volume goals.
    
  • Communicate with Strategists to clarify criteria, update list settings, and ensure accuracy.
    
  • Maintain documentation for list sourcing, purchase schedules, and workflow steps.
    
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment Strategy team and account leads to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate list delivery.

• Search Data Quality, Standards, and Workflow Oversight

  • Establish and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and import best practices for all Student Search lists.
    
  • Oversee quality checks on all lists, including deduplication, data integrity, segmentation logic, and correct attribution.
    
  • Manage timelines, workflows, and deliverables for all Search-related data tasks across multiple clients.
    
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of origin data within Slate, including alignment with downstream reporting and strategy review.

• Cross-Team Leadership & Support

  • Act as the lead for Search data escalations, guiding responses to discrepancies and vendor platform changes that affect list strategy or segmentation.
    
  • Train new and existing team members on data standards, list purchasing workflows, and Search data processes.

• Internal Project Contribution & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead or contribute to internal innovation projects that strengthen data quality, automation, or operational efficiency.
    
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
    
  • Support additional Slate tasks and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Curiosity about data challenges, both overall and unique to the college admissions market
  
• Expertise in Upload Dataset module of Slate
  
• Familiarity in Queries and Reports modules of Slate
  
• Experience in Microsoft Access and Excel or other database systems
  
• Leadership and management abilities
  
• Desire to be an active contributor on internal strategy calls
  
• Organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making
  
• Interpersonal skills to positively collaborate with team members and represent the company to clients
  
• Due to the remote environment, effective communication and time management skills are required, as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
  
• Physical requirement: Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods

Credentials and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in higher education, preferably enrollment
  
• Intermediate to advanced experience in CollegeBoard, Encoura, or other search vendor platforms, preferred
  
• Experience in segmentation marketing analysis
  
• Experience manipulating large data files
• Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher)
