About the role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our UX team creating high-quality user experiences to a broad range of users and use cases in the IoT domain. Your expertise in UX design and understanding of user needs will guide the team in delivering intuitive and seamless interactions. Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and seamless user experiences that cater to a broad range of users and use cases in the IoT domain.
- Maintain a user-centric approach, ensuring all features are well-connected and make sense from a user perspective.
- Implement a Design Thinking process, including hypothesis creation, ideation, user testing, and iterative design improvements.
- Participate user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, and incorporate these findings into the design process.
- Act as an advocate for users throughout the design process, ensuring their needs are considered and addressed.
- Oversee design implementation in the actual product by closely collaborating with developers.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency and quality in UX design.
- Foster collaboration, teamwork, and iteration within the UX design team and cross-functional teams.
Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in interaction and visual design.
- Enterprise level B2B SaaS software experience is absolutely required.
- Demonstrated ability to create user-centric architecture, interaction flows, and wireframes.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools like Figma to create rapidly interactive prototypes for user testing and design validation.
- Competence in running accessibility tests to ensure inclusivity in the IoT user experience.
- Experience establishing and implementing standardization of design and creation of style guides.
- Basic understanding of IoT technologies, Security solutions, and data visualization principles.
- Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills, with the proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
- Works effectively & independently in a dynamic team environment.
- Proven time management, organizational and follow-up skills to meet deadlines.
- Quality-orientation with passion for customer satisfaction.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Experience working in an Agile development process, where collaboration and iterative design are essential.
- Continuous learning mindset, keeping up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies in the Internet of Things domain.
