About the Role

As Technology Lead, you will provide technical leadership and direction for our company’s technology initiatives. You’ll work closely with the executive team to align technology strategy with business objectives while leading a small but mighty engineering team. In our startup environment, you’ll need to balance strategic vision with hands-on capabilities.

Technical Leadership & Team Management

• Aid in developing and lead in executing our technical vision and roadmap
• Lead our engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Make key architectural decisions ensuring product scalability and technical excellence
• Manage technical debt and prioritize engineering resources effectively
• Establish software development processes and best practices
• Oversee security, reliability, and performance of our technical systems
• Contribute hands-on, especially during critical development phases
• Stay current with technology trends
• Help recruit and retain top engineering talent

Executive & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with executives to align technology strategies with business goals
• Establish technical partnerships to enhance capabilities when needed
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation across the technology team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology leadership experience, preferably in startup environments
• Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience
• Experience scaling engineering teams and technical infrastructure
• Track record of shipping successful products and driving innovation
• Strategic thinking with practical execution abilities
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
