Senior QA Engineer

Typical workday:

• Testing work items in the sprint
• Mobile (iOS) and API side testing
• Creating manual test cases
• Attend planning meetings for 3 scrum teams
• Attend backlog refinement meetings for 3 scrum teams
• Attend design sessions for new development
• Regression testing at end of the sprint
• Creating bugs as needed
• Improving current processes around automation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to software development teams when it comes to application creation, application testing, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Be involved in the development process from beginning to end
• Detect bugs and issues in work items
• Perform the following testing: integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), negative testing, performance testing
• Pick up RFT items within 24 hr period
• Create manual test cases to be executed during the sprint and in regression testing
• Complete regression testing each sprint.
• Automation testing using C#/ RestSharp. RestSharp is a C# library used to build and send API requests and interpret the responses. It is used as part of the C#Bot API testing framework to build the requests, send them to the server, and interpret the responses so assertions can be made

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer (web/mobile)
• Ability to use Postman or similar API testing tool
• Knowledge of test strategies, test management tools, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Very thorough and detailed in the testing approach
• Innovative and bring ideas on improving the current QA process
• BS/BA in Computer Science or a related degree

As a plus:

• Automation testing experience
• RestSharp experience
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Services experience
• Experience in the Health IT industry
