We seek a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate possesses 5-8 years of data engineering experience. An excellent candidate should have extensive experience in Airflow, Docker, and API experience. 

Hired individuals will play a crucial role in helping to lead our strategy for data orchestration. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and implementing best practices that optimize Airflow performance and reliability across our organization. You will work cross-functionally with all of our engineering teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable data pipelines. This position is ideal for someone who loves tackling complex technical challenges, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and can architect a roadmap for Airflow use at scale. 

As Our Senior Data Engineer You Will:

• Report directly to the Director of Data Engineering, who will provide significant, hands-on training on cutting-edge data tools and techniques.
• Own the end-to-end vision and strategic roadmap for our airflow deployments.
• Architect and implement enterprise-grade Airflow framework that supports multiple teams and mentor data engineers on effective DAG design, coding standards, and operational excellence.
• Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and other training materials.
• Become an expert at solving complex data pipeline issues.
• Deeply learn Databricks, Spark, and other ETL applications developed internally.

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.
• You have 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, or in other technical functions.
• You have extensive experience working with airflow
• You have a great understanding of working with data, orchestration tools and APIs.
• You understand business needs and the rationale behind data different data ingestion and deliveries strategies
• You are eager to constantly learn new technologies.
• You are a self-starter who enjoys working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Nice to have: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or equivalent.
