ZIIP Beauty, part of The Beauty Tech Group, is a leading brand in at-home beauty devices, offering cutting-edge technology that delivers professional-level results. The ZIIP Halo is our latest device, enabling customers to personalise their skin treatments by selecting different programmes through a dedicated companion app.

We’re bringing the development of the ZIIP Halo companion app in-house to rebuild it using React Native, ensuring a seamless experience across iOS and Android. This move will allow us to streamline future rollouts and collaborate more closely with product and marketing teams to introduce new features, enhance the customer experience, and drive increased usage and retention.

We are seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to lead this rebuild and future development. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the app’s architecture, influence strategic technical decisions, and help us hire and mentor the team that will support the app’s long-term growth. About The Role

As a Middle React Native Engineer, you will contribute to the development of our companion apps that integrate directly with our beauty tech devices. You’ll work within a collaborative environment to enhance the mobile experience that allows customers to personalise their treatments and achieve professional-level results at home.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our device companion apps using React Native, ensuring seamless integration across iOS and Android platforms
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to implement user-driven enhancements that increase engagement and improve retention
• Contribute to the app’s architecture to ensure cross-platform consistency and scalability for future updates and feature rollouts
• Debug, optimize performance, and resolve issues such as performance bottlenecks and memory leaks
• Write and maintain high-quality, tested code with proper documentation to ensure long-term maintainability
• Analyze feature requirements and contribute to technical implementation from feasibility assessment to release
• Stay current with mobile development best practices and emerging technologies

What you will bring

• 3+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, including App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.
• Experience with Redux/MobX or other state management libraries.
• Familiarity with integrating and working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes (App Store and Google Play).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Advanced level of English-speaking proficiency
