About the Role

This role will be primarily responsible for implementation of features and improvements within Glorify’s iOS app, currently used by millions of users across the globe.
You will collaborate closely with other members of the engineering and product teams to deliver world-class capabilities throughout the Glorify ecosystem.
Your work will support feature development, continuous technical improvements and evolution of our stack to align with business and user scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable iOS applications for Glorify.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineers to define and implement features.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices for iOS development.
Optimize app performance, reliability, and responsiveness for a seamless user experience.
Mentor junior engineers and help shape the iOS development process, architecture, and standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Animation, Combine, networking, and async/await.
Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
Experience with app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MV, etc).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrating with cloud services.
Experience with CI/CD and app deployment processes.
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience building apps with a focus on user engagement and retention.
Experience with Git, and an understanding of Git Flow or Trunk-based development.
Good communication skills – the ability to articulate ideas (and the reasoning behind them) clearly.
Passion for faith-based, wellness, or lifestyle apps is a plus

Nice to have

Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and subscription-based models.
Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and growth-oriented features.
Experience writing unit tests with XCTests or Swift Testing
