About SpendHound

SpendHound is a 100% free software renewal management platform and service recently launched by the research firm YipitData.

SpendHound is the single source of truth for companies’ renewal information and includes:

• A comprehensive view of all software applications used with annual contract values, auto-renewal information, renewal dates, license counts, and more
• An invoice and contract management system for companies to store their invoices and contracts
• Renewal reminders through email and slack so companies never miss upcoming software renewals
• Free advice from procurement experts to discuss price benchmarking insights and negotiation strategies for any upcoming renewals

Companies use the SpendHound platform and procurement expert service to save time and money on their software renewals. SpendHound is free for customers because customer data is de-identified, aggregated with other panelists, and used as part of YipitData market research (example report). Our SpendHound product is quickly growing, and we are scaling our internal operations to support new customer growth and onboarding.

We are looking for an Activation Specialist to join our SpendHound team and manage the customer integration process and facilitate the customer handoff between Sales and Customer Success.

This role requires the ability to work in the US Eastern time zone (9am-5pm ET framework with flexibility). We are looking for a candidate who speaks fluent English and is comfortable interacting with English-speaking clients on a regular and ongoing basis.

As Our Activation Specialist, You Will

• Oversee the customer integration process to ensure that every customer correctly integrates their relevant data sources to complete setup on our platform
• Serve as the main point of contact for new customers following handoff from sales
• Schedule and lead new customer integration and onboarding calls
• Provide SpendHound guides and lead live walkthroughs on how to setup specific key integrations
• Work with product team to troubleshoot any integration issues that customers experience
• Handoff customers to Customer Success team following successful integration
• Optimize the integration process to reduce the time to fully integrate a customer
• Improve the customer experience through the creation of integration guides
• Work primarily with the sales, product, and customer success team members to align on priorities and deliver a fantastic product experience

You Are Likely to Succeed If

• You have 1+ years of experience working with mid-sized or enterprise customers in a client facing role
• You have basic experience with how integrations and APIs work
• You have exceptional attention to detail
• You have a strong sense of urgency
• You have experience managing multiple processes in parallel
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You prefer working in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly changing product
• You enjoy working collaboratively and supporting a small team
